Focused on improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of your operation, AccuWeigh's weigh-in-motion systems automatically capture and record the weight readings of each individual axle loading, and identify the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of both the vehicle and its trailers.
Unlike static weighbridges or axle scales, weigh-in-motion systems don't require vehicles to stop for weighing. Operators simply drive over the weighbridge steadily at a reduced speed. This makes the weighing process more efficient, eliminating unnecessary delays and downtime. Plus, vehicles with overloaded axles are readily identified before causing safety issues on public roads or incurring hefty fines for overloading.
AccuWeigh's reliable robust weigh-in-motion systems can quickly and easily weigh any vehicle up to 40,000kg per axle, at speeds up to 15km per hour. Weigh-in-motion systems are ideal for use in heavily congested sites, like freight terminals and shipping ports, where vehicles must be weighed to ensure compliance with legal weight limits.
Our versatile WIM sytstems print a full weight ticket, which lists each axle's individual weight along with the vehicle's GVM. The vehicle weight is stored within the indicator for future retrieval, and a tally roll ticket is printed on request, giving details of: location; date; time; vehicle registration number; axle, gross, and net weights; product and supplier codes; and time on and off site.
When combined with our state-of-the-art digital indicator, our WIM systems can even function as a driver control station.
