The PT300 wheel weighers are constructed in lightweight cast aluminium with have a capacity of 10000kg with 5kg divisions and are used by numerous Defence Departments around the world and carry a NATO part number, which is an indication of their ruggedness and reliability. These wheel weighers are able to be used as stand alone units or connected in a master slave configuration giving a total weight for all wheels.
The PT300 wheelweighers are operated from self-contained nickel cadmium batteries (supplied as standard) or can also be operated from alkaline batteries. An integral recharger is supplied to re-charge the batteries or to allow the wheelweighers to operate from a VDC or VAC power source.
Operator buttons are located on front of the wheelweighers via a waterproof membrane keypad with large contact surfaces as well as two separate ON/OFF switches for convenience. Wheelweigher serail output is a 20mA passive current loop to interface with a remote printer or remote display.
