Weighbridge Loadcell Upgrade
Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently fitted six Flintec weighbridge load cells to Heytesbury Stockfeeds’ weighbridge to replace two load cells that had failed. It was more cost effective to replace all the existing load cells with a modern load cell design which also offers substantial improvements in both waterproofing and operation.
Due to the low profile of the Flintec RC3 weighbridge load cells, packing spacers were fitted to the existing load cell mounting brackets to raise the weighbridge deck to keep it level with the existing concrete ramps.
Flinted RC3 weighbridge load cells are fabricated in stainless steel with an IP68 rating and are available in various capacities and mounting brackets to suit all industrial weighing applications.
