Overhead Track Scales From Accuweigh.


Overhead Track Scales

Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently installed a set of overhead track scales for Thuan Phat butchers in Springvale Victoria. These overhead track scales were installed to eliminate the back breaking task of lifting and lowering heavy animal carcasses multiple times before and after the weighing process on route to the meat chiller.

The delivery truck now can reverse up to the loading door and the rail mounted in the truck connects directly to the rail in the butchery to allow the heavy carcasses to slide straight onto the overhead track scales with minimal effort.

These overtrack scales are fully trade approved to allow the butchery to legally buy and sell animal carcasses by weight and can also be used to verify the correct weight of invoiced products from suppliers.

The model OHT-600 Combo Overhead Track Scale is calibrated to 300kg x 100g and uses a waterproof AD 4407 Stainless Steel IP67 indicator for displaying the correct product weights.
