The new tipper trailer fitted with the onboard weighing system is owned by MF Richardson Heavy Haulage in Adelaide and will be used on a contract for delivering soil & rubble to SA’s highways department for the building of new roads.
The tipper trailer was fitted with PM On-Board heavy duty loadcells connected to a PM 1200 digital weight indicator mounted in the cab. For easier loading, a PM 511 hand held remote display is used outside the truck by the loader operators when loading the material into the truck. It also provides drivers with the freedom to weigh the payload, zero the display and print weighing results out of the cab.
