Bag Closing Sewing Head
Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently supplied a Newlong DS-9C automatic bag sewing machine to a major stockfeed manufacturer in Melbourne’s Eastern district.
The automatic bag sewing machine comprises a high speed oil enclosed sewing head mounted on height adjustable pillar. An in-feed with bag top trimming device is fitted with special trimming knifes for crepe-tape bound closure of paper and laminated woven poly-propylene bags.
The bag sewing machine seals bags filled with pellets and premium mixed feeds with molasses at a rate of up to fifteen (15) x 25 kg bags per minute which are then conveyed to a Fuji-Ace robotic palletiser for stacking on pallets.
