Weighbridge Loadcells
Accuweigh recently supplied four heavy duty loadcells to Possums Wines in SA for use in a small weighbridge that will be receiving grapes at their Blewitt Springs Winery.
The Kelba KA-5000 loadcells are trade approved and fitted with optional rubber mounts to minimise shock loadings and the effects of torsional stresses on the loadcells to ensure high accuracy is maintained.
Accuweigh has installed loadcells into over 20 grape receival bins into the SA wine industry in recent years plus a host of weighbridge installations for larger operations. This loadcell application at Possum Wines caters for the use of a tractor hauling mobile trolleys filled with grapes over the small weighbridge.
A Ranger R323 stainless steel indicator configured for 10,000kg capacity with a resolution of 5kg is used to display the weight from the four Kelba loadcells.
