The batching functions of each batching controller are:
Monitors the weight of cement in the 12t silo scales using a low level alarm to warn the operators when the cement level is low
Batches cement from a small hopper scale into the slurry tank
Batches sand from a small hopper scale into the slurry tank
Batches resin from a small hopper scale into the slurry tank
Controls the volume of water and as is a final check of all batched ingredients in the slurry tank scales
The batching process is as follows:
- Operator selects the batch size from the selector switch and starts the batching process
- Batch controller #5 monitors water input into the slurry tank to the correct weight and initiates the mixer in the slurry tank
- Batch controller #2 discharges batched cement volume into the slurry tank
- Batch controller #3 discharges batched sand volume into the slurry tank
- Batch controller #4 discharges batched resin volume into the slurry tank
- The total weight is checked by the batch controller #5 and after the mixing is complete, discharges the batch into the catch hopper.
Accuweigh has hundreds of typical batching systems installed all over Australia receiving full backup and support by branches in all mainland states.
