The heavy duty weighbridge supplied is 20 metres long by 3 metres wide and uses 6 x Flintec stainless steel weighbridge loadcells with an IP68 rating. A Rinstrum R5000 digital weight indicator is fitted to the side of the weighbridge and transmits the weight readings to the weighbridge office (the main display must be within 6 metres of the weighbridge).
A Rinstrum R323 remote display inside the weighbridge office displays the weight readings to the weighbridge operator and also relays the weight to a PC running Simsmetal’s own weighbridge software. A Rinstrum D740 large digit remote display is mounted outside the weighbridge office and displays the weight readings to the truck driver.
