Accuweigh Platform Scales Weigh Toll’s Air Freight Containers


Platform Scales

Accuweigh’s NSW branch recently installed custom built platform scales for checking the weight of air fright containers at Toll’s Erskineville Depot. These heavy duty platform scales were engineered to Toll’s requirements and are located at the receiving dock.

The weighing area of the platform scales measures 2 metres wide by 3 metres long with a weighing capacity of only 3t using 4 x CAS 1t loadcells. Metal rollers are fitted to the weighing platform to allow easy movement of the shipping containers after weighing is completed.

A Rinstrum 5000 digital weight indicator is mounted alongside the platform scales and is connected to remote display for increased reading visibility from a distance.
