FS-KA Checkweigher
Accuweigh’s Perth branch recently supplied A&D checkweigher scales for prepacking Dorsogna’s highly regarded range of Italian heritage gourmet smallgoods at their Palmyra factory in Perth.
Three sets of A&D’s FS-KA checkweigher scales were fitted to Dorsogna’s production lines to enable fast and accurate checkweighing of all meats prior to vacuum sealing and then distribution through retail channels.
A&D’s FS-KA checkweigher scales are waterproof to IP65 and manufactured in stainless steel for use in food preparation areas. The checkweigher function is very operator friendly thanks to the analog sweep display that quickly indicates proximity to target weight without the very annoying display flutter that affects most checkweigher scales and hampers operator throughput.
Other outstanding checkweigher features include a tilting scale head to suit the operator’s height, dual ranging ability for accurate checkweighing of small items and a full 400 hours of checkweigher operation using battery power.
