Wheel Load Scales

Wheel Load Scales are being used to ensure axle load limits on tractors are not being exceeded by the fitting of aftermarket equipment.

Supplied by Accuweigh’s Springvale branch in Melbourne, the Wheel Load Scales accurately calculate tractor axle loadings with the accessory equipment in place.

With a platform size of 584mm by 190mm and a weighing capacity of 10,000kg, Accuweigh’s Road Guardian Wheel Load Scales are ideal for weighing the large tyres fitted to tractors and other agricultural equipment. These self-contained Wheel Load Scales feature a low height profile of only 32mm to minimise potential weighing errors caused by major height differences between the wheels being weighed and the wheels still on the ground.

Manufactured from aluminium for strength and corrosion resistance, each Wheel Load Scale weighs only fifteen kilograms for easy manoeuvring with minimal effort and is fitted with the weighing electronics integrated into the carry handle and powered by six AA-size batteries for full portability. Each Wheel Load Scale displays its own weight reading but can also be set to display the combined weight of up to six units at a time with expansion to interconnect with up to 16 platforms in a single weighing system. The junction box allows recharging of the internal batteries of up to six Wheel Load Scales at once.

Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has eight branches across Australia providing complete service support on all forms of vehicle weighing applications, including Wheel Load Scales, weighbridges and onboard vehicle weighing systems.
