Six sets of Wet Area Scales were recently supplied to Kraft Foods in Melbourne. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Springvale branch, the wet area scales are being used in an area where non-waterproof scales can easily be damaged by excess moisture levels.

Scales were ideal for this client’s weighing application that requires high
weighing accuracy without risking expensive repairs caused by water damage. The
fully sealed indicator is rated at IP68 and features washdown construction for
easy cleaning while the load cell is also waterproof and corrosion resistant.
The SC Wet Area Scales are designed for portability and can
achieve up to 4500 hours of operation from the 6 x D cell batteries stored
onboard in a sealed chamber. The large LCD has 39mm high digits for clear and
easy reading under all lighting conditions.
The body of the Wet Area Scales is fabricated in 304
stainless steel and is fitted with a stainless steel weighing pan. Accuweigh is
