A Weighbridge has been installed for a paper recycling company located in Melbourne’s Dandenong for weighing trucks carrying recycled paper.
The Weighbridge is trade approved and fitted with a concrete deck measuring 20m long x 3 m wide with a weighing capacity of 60.0t and was commissioned by Accuweigh’s Springvale North branch. Ticket Aid Weighbridge Software from AASoftware was also supplied to allow the operator to enter the required truck and load details into the PC for generating Weighbridge weight tickets and to also provide detailed management reports.
For optimum traffic access, the Weighbridge was positioned away from the main building which also accommodates the Weighbridge office. Due to Weights & Measures regulations, CCTV cameras were then required to be mounted to ensure the operator has a clear and un-interrupted view of both ends of the Weighbridge to ensure vehicles are correctly positioned before weighing.
