Accuweigh’s Perth branch recently commissioned a weighbridge for Australian Rail Group’s Forestfield depot in WA. The weighbridge will be used for weighing incoming shipping containers before being transported by rail.
The single deck weighbridge uses a semi-pit foundation to keep the 33 metre long concrete weighbridge deck flush with the ground for easy truck access. The exposed shallow weighbridge pit is covered by full length walkways to comply with OH&S requirements.
The weighbridge is fitted with 10 x Accucell weighbridge load cells and an Avery 1210 digital weight indicator to relay the weight readings to a Rinstrum D740 remote display for truck drivers to see their weight readings also.
