A Relocatable Weighbridge is being used for weighing trucks delivering animal feeds to the Collinsville Stud property in South Australia.
To enable the client to perform their own civils and concreting for the weighbridge, Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch supplied all working drawings and provided technial assitance as required.
Accuweigh’s Relocatable Weighbridge uses fully galvanised steel sections that are bolted together to allow on-site assembly using a small crane or forklift. The low weight of the assembled weighbridge deck along with a low deck height offers further savings by minimising the civils requirements of the weighbridge foundations.
Unlike cheaper units, this Relocatable Weighbridge offers exceptional strength and durability as the centre block assemblies containing the load cells are also used to join the weighbridge sections together at the strongest loading points of the weighbridge. Repeated deck deflection causes undue stress on the load cells as well as weakening the metal beams; Accuweigh’s design helps ensure an extended operational life of the weighbridge.
