Accuweigh’s QWM branch recently tested and certified a re-locatable weighbridge in central Queensland for Emerald Quarries. The client had sandblasted and painted the metal deck of the re-locatable weighbridge to remove excessive rust from the weighbridge deck after many years of operation.
Re-locatable weighbridges are ideal for use in large operations where trucks may return to the loading point to add or remove material to ensure they are fully loaded without exceeding legal weight limits for travel on public roads. The re-locatable weighbridge can be positioned closer to the ever changing loading point in order to minimise travel times to the weighbridge for weighing.
QWM’s weighbridge test truck was used to fully test the re-locatable weighbridge before certificating the weighbridge for trade use. This re-locatable weighbridge is currently installed in a semi-permanent position and is used to weigh all trucks entering and leaving the quarry.
