Jurlique Australia’s application requires production staff to wheel a trolley fitted with a mixing bowl onto a platform scale into which the natural ingredients are individually added and weighed before mixing.
The best solution may have been to use a pit mounded platform scale to keep the weighing surface level with the foor, but as this wasn’t possible, Accuweigh’s Tom Armour from the Adelaide branch offered a custom drop centre platform scale to keep the weighing surface as low as possible. A small incline ramp was then fitted to the front of the platform scale to allow easy access for the trolleys.
The entire platform and ramp are fabricated in stainless steel to suit Jurlique’s strict requirements for polished clean surfaces and the platform scale is fitted with A&D Mercury loadcells and a Rinstrum 5000 digital weight indicator to achieve the necessary 10g accuracy.
