Dillon Crane Scales were fitted with a hand held remote control at One Steel’s Perth branch to allow the operator to more easily read the weights of large bundles of steel.
The Dillon Communicator has the ability to connect with up to four individual Dillon crane scales at one time for increased functionality when using multiple sets of crane scales to lift heavy objects.
The optional Dillon wireless hand held remote control was purchased to ensure the operator can view the crane scale’s weight readings from any distance and to allow the operator to perform basic keyboard functions such as zero, tare & print via the hand held device.
The acquired weight readings from the crane scales can then be transferred over a wireless network to a host PC for logging purposes.
