Two Driver Control Stations (DCS) were recently installed by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch for receiving radiata pine logs for processing at Alpine’s MDF plant in Wangaratta Victoria.
Driver Control Stations allow truck drivers to enter their truck and load details to generate a weight tickets on unattended weighbridges.
The two Driver Control Stations installed on the weighbridge allow for both incoming and outgoing traffic movements. Accuweigh’s Forestry Weighbridge Software is also installed on Alpine’s main server to allow office staff to perform necessary changes for the odd occasion when a truck driver enters incorrect data into the unattended weighbridge terminal and needs assistance correcting the errors.
Accuweigh’s Forestry Weighbridge Software operating the Driver Control Stations allows users to predefine the reports required using the inbuilt report builder. These DCS’s are designed for minimum driver interaction but with maximum flexibility to Alpine to fine tune the forestry software package to their day to day use. All database maintenance and report generation is done remotely via terminal service.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has branches in all mainland states providing local state based after sales service support on unattended weighbridge terminals, driver control stations and weighbridge software packages without incurring interstate travel charges.
