A Set of Dillon Crane Scales are being used by a contract mining company for weighing items in a remote Queensland location. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch, the Crane Scales feature a mechanical dial to eliminate the need for recharging or replacing batteries as required with digital crane scales.
As QWM’s client needed a set of Crane
Scale that would just operate without any form of regular maintenance, Dillon’s
AP Mechanical Dial Crane Scales was supplied. With a weighing capacity of
10,000 kgs, the Dillon Crane Scales have a division size of 50kg and can be
supplied with an official Certification of Calibration, traceable to NIST.
The rugged cast aluminium housing is
designed to take the knocks and bumps a portable Crane Scale is expected to
receive during normal operations. The large 10 inch anti-parallax dial of these
dial Crane Scales offers accurate weight readings in temperatures ranging from
-45° up to 60°C.
Fitted with generous shackle openings
to mate with most hooks and hardware, the Dillon Crane Scales are also fitted
with heavy duty roller bearings to allow free rotation of shackle pins. The
Dillon AP series Crane Scales has proven to have limitless versatility as a
tension, traction and weight measuring instrument.
Accuweigh/QWM is Australia’s largest
industrial weighing company and has eight branches across mainland states
providing superior product support on all forms of weighing equipment,
including Crane Scales.
