Digital Forklift Truck Scales were fitted to an existing forklift truck for AgroBest in Nerang Queensland replacing the existing hydraulic weighing system.
Supplied and installed by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the digital forklift scales were fitted to increase weighing accuracy and repeatability. A quality digital pressure transducer replaced the previous hydraulic line connected to the mechanical pressure gauge.
A digital weight indicator in a stainless steel housing rated to IP65 was mounted to the forklift dash to allow use in wet and dusty conditions. To ensure high reliability, Accuweigh’s digital forklift truck scales use a switching 10-30 VDC power input to better cope with the sometimes variable power output of forklifts.
The display uses a large LCD with backlighting to ensure clear reading by the forklift truck operator under all ambient lighting conditions, including bridge sunlight. Configured for a weighing capacity of 2,000kg by 20kg divisions, the digital forklift scales were fully tested and calibrated using certified test weights. The weighing indicator has an onboard RS232 serial output to allow an external printer to record weight tickets if required.
Accuweigh has extensive industry experience in installing and servicing digital forklift truck scales and offers complete after sales support from eight branches across mainland Australia.
