A counting scale was recently supplied to Kardex in Albury New South Wales for integration into a PC controlled Automatic Parts Picking Carousel.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch, the counting scales are used to ensure boxes are filled with the correct number of required parts.
The Avery G236/25 Counting Scales have a weighing capacity of 25kg using a vibrating beam load cell which provides exception counting accuracy of 1 part in two million counts. This high quality, durable counting scale is ideal for use in rugged warehouse environments and features a full numeric keyboard for manual entry of piece weight, tare weight, or counting sample size.
The Avery G236 counting scale is fully configurable to best match the individual needs of the operator and also has a reverse counting mode for counting parts out of a filled container. The bi-direction serial port allows two-way communications with the PC based Automatic Parts Picking Carousel but can alternately be configured with standard label/ticket printers.
