A third set of conveyor belt scales were recently installed and commissioned for Monier PNG at their Saraga quarry near Lae.
The conveyor belt scales are used for monitoring the volume of crushed aggregates output from the quarry.
These conveyor belt scales were sold by Accuweigh’s Sydney branch and installed by Accuweigh’s Specialist Technician, Ellis Safadi. Accuweigh’s conveyor belt scales feature a heavy duty and durable design which is ideal for use in PNG’s rugged conditions and often remote locations.
These conveyor belt scales are manufactured to order by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane using an EMC 1495 Weigh Processor to generate the weight readings of materials passing over the conveyor belt scales. Configured for a flow rate of 200tph, these belt scales track all aggregate from the crusher which is then stockpiled into the various aggregate sizes.
