Accuweigh’s Newcastle weighbridge service crew replaced the head wall on an aging Avery weighbridge to extend its operating life at Boral’s Peats Ridge quarry in NSW.
The damaged weighbridge head wall foundations were removed and replaced with a new concrete section which was then firmly attached to the rest of the weighbridge foundations.
The weighbridge repairs were carried out over a long weekend so as not to interrupt production at this quarry that requires trucks to drive over the weighbridge to exit the quarry.
