The Automatic Axle Scales are used for weighing trucks carrying Biomass (waste wood chips) for boiler fuel.
Accuweigh’s Willetton branch in Perth installed the Automatic Axle Scales into the clients existing concrete hardstand. This location was ideal for the positioning of the Automatic Axle Scales which require level approaches and departures on both sides of the Automatic Axle Scales to achieve high accuracy weight readings.
The SupaWeigh 4000 Automatic Axle Scales are an in-motion weighing axle scale which can be trade approved and doesn’t required the truck to stop to weigh each axle. Trucks proceed slowly over the SupaWeigh 4000 Automatic Axle Scales at 10KPH and the specialised axle scale integrator automatically acquires the weight of each axle.
No operator is required with the weighing sequence; the driver enters his truck ID then slowly drives the truck over the Automatic Axle Scales. After all the axles have been weighed, the SupaWeigh 4000 Automatic Axle Scales automatically issue a weight ticket listing each axle’s weight plus the total vehicle weight. This data can also be transmitted to external logging devices as required.
