A Driver Control Station (DCS) is being used to capture weighbridge weighing transactions at Western Milling’s Port Adelaide plant in South Australia. The Driver Control Station was installed as part of a weighbridge upgrade that also included the fitting of new weighbridge load cells.
The Driver Control Station was supplied by Accuweigh’s Port Adelaide branch for tracking all product movements over the weighbridge. The DCS and the PC based TicketAid+ Grain Weighbridge Software from AASoftware is used for receiving all deliveries of grain and for weighing outgoing truck loads of processed flour.
Accuweigh’s basic Driver Control Station including a keyboard terminal was supplied to allow the truck drivers to enter their truck registration numbers to be linked with the Grain Weighbridge Software stored on a remote server. All stored transaction details such as truck, product, company and tare weights are recalled to generate the full weighbridge ticket and for producing comprehensive weighbridge reports for plant management.
Accuweigh has a diverse range of Driver Control Stations available ranging from basic keyboard terminals up to full colour touch screen PC’s rated for external use in industrial environments.
Accuweigh is the only weighbridge supplier with branches in all mainland states to provide weighbridges, Driver Control Sattions and weighbridge software packages. Each branch has trained weighbridge crews dedicated to providing competent and cost effective weighbridge installations and servicing.
