A Weigh Bridge was recently commissioned by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane at a feedlot plant in Millmerran, near Toowoomba.
The weigh bridge features dual concrete weighing decks and is used for weighing trucks in and out of DA Hall’s feed mill.
Each of the Weigh Bridge decks measures 20m x 3.5m to enable B Double trucks to be weighed in a single weighing transaction. An Accuweigh R5000 digital weight indicator displays the combined weight readings of both weigh bridge decks and then transmits the weight data to a PC running weigh bridge software.
An inspection platform at one end of the dual deck weigh bridge is used for collecting grain samples from incoming trucks to confirm grain quality.
