Ninety-eight A&D electronic balances are being supplied to Viterra in South Australia for weighing grain samples.

Supplied by Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch, the electronic balances are being distributed to Viterra’s grain receiving sites to improve grain sampling consistency.

Accuweigh supplied the GX series balances which are trade approved with a capacity of 2100grams by divisions of 0.01gram for high weighing accuracy. All balances incorporate a RS-232 serial output and were also supplied with A&D’s WinCT data collection software.

One of the major selling points of A&D's electronic balances for Viterra was A&D’s philosophy of after sales service being a 'service' to their customers - not a profit generating part of their business. Viterra required electronic balances that would provide cost effective operation over a long term and A&D’s service policy will ensure prompt repairs at an affordable price.

The GX Top Pan Electronic Balances use a Super Hybrid Sensor which is a combination of magnetic force and a strain gage weighing technologies for improved weighing speed and accuracy. Ongoing service needs are also reduced by the internal calibration function which uses an internal mass during calibrations.

Accuweigh’s has NATA registered laboratories which maintain a quality system and provides full service support on all scales and weighing equipment, including laboratory and electronic balances.
