For larger weigh hoppers, it is important to allow for provision of testing of the weigh hopper with certified test weights in the initial design - this is critically important if the weigh hopper is required to be certified for trade use.
If installed externally, the hopper scales must be fitted with a restraining system to secure the weigh hopper in strong winds. The load cell mounting harware supplied in Accuweigh's standard weigh hopper load cells kit includes integral restraints that do not affect the weighing accuracy of the weigh hopper.
