Wheelchair Scales
Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently supplied wheelchair scales to the
Womens & Child Health Care clinic in Parkville, VIC. The wheelchair scales will be used to weigh patients on arrival to the clinic.
The wheelchair scales supplied was an A&D HVL-CS Chair Scale which is ergonomically designed to require minimal effort by staff to weigh patients. For patient safety when weighing patients, this wheelchair scale is fitted with five large casters of 125mm diameter, which can be locked for extra stability.
The HVL-CS wheelchair scales are Australian Made with a quality digital weight indicator that is battery powered with approx 600 hours operation from standard alkaline cells. The high visibility LCD display is easy to read from any angle and the load cell fitted to this chair scale has a 200% overload rating for safety and long term durability.
