An IP69K rated digital weight indicator was fitted to an existing set of winery scales for waterproofing to allow for hosing down without causing damage.
Fitted by Accuweigh’s Perth branch, the waterproof scales are used for weighing grapes at a winery in Western Australia
Accuweigh’s X320 waterproof scale is ideal for use in wet and dusty applications due to its IP69K rating which is designed to withstand direct hosing with high pressure water of up to 1400psi and at temperatures to 80ºC. The waterproof scales were calibrated and then certified for trade use with a weighing capacity of 2000kg x 1 kg divisions.
The housing of the Accuweigh X320 waterproof scale indicator uses a food grade, impact resistant composite alloy housing incorporating a double ‘o’ ring seal to provide superior sealing performance over traditional stainless steel enclosures.
