Accuweigh’s SA branch recently sold a single deck weighbridge to Breona Farming for weighing trucks & trailers loaded with grain for their seed cleaning business based in SA’s York Peninsula.
Due to the extensive land available for the weighbridge installation, an above ground design was used to minimize foundation costs for the client. Level approaches nine metres long are fitted at each end of the single deck weighbridge to allow for legal weighings of tipper trucks with dog trailers.
The single deck weighbridge is fitted with 4 x Flintec RC3 30t weighbridge load cells which are connected to a Rinstrum 5000 digital weight indicator.
A weighbridge hut is also being fabricated on site to house a PC running AASoftware’s weighbridge software for tracking all incoming and outgoing grain deliveries. Once these additions are completed, the single deck weighbridge can operate as a public weighbridge for use by local farmers.
