Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane relocated three silos fitted with silo weighing systems for a supplier to the farming community.
The silo weighing systems were completely dismantled prior to the silos being transported to eliminate damage being caused to the sensitive weighing electronics.
Transportation bolts were installed replacing the load cells of the silo weighing systems to maintain the supporting frames’ integrity throughout the relocation. After the silos had been placed in position at the new site, the weighing systems were refitted to the silos and verified all was in good working order.
Accuweigh’s test truck carrying certified test weights was available to ensure correct weight readings could be attained before the silos were refilled with fertilizers for normal trading.
