Weighbridge Remote Display
Accuweigh’s Sydney branch recently fitted a remote display during the commissioning of a weighbridge for Grima Recycling’s new site in Sydney’s Wetherill Park. Remote displays are fitted to weighbridges to allow truck drivers to also see their axle and truck weights as they enter the weighbridge.
The fully galvanised, 20mx3m heavy duty weighbridge will be used for weighing truckloads of recyclable materials and the semi-pit design allows the weighbridge deck to be fitted flush with the surrounding hardstand minimising turning distances for trucks entering and leaving the weighbridge.
The D740 remote display was supplied by the local Australian manufacturer, Rinstrum, and the display is fitted with 6 digits comprising high intensity LED’s to ensure high visibility in bright sunlight. The remote display is powered from the Ranger 5000 digital weight indicator via a serial output and is fully trade approved.
