Wheel Chair Weigher
Accuweigh’s QLD branch recently supplied a floor mount wheelchair weigher that can be stored in a vertical position when not in use to maximise the available floor area in restrictive spaces. The frame of the wheelchair weigher is fitted with swivelling wheels to allow for easy re-location to different wards as required.
The WCS wheelchair weighers are Australian Made and manufactured in aluminium to keep the unit as light as possible for mobility while also retaining strength. The drop centre wheelchair weigher design has the loadcells mounted within a raised perimeter frame which provide wheelchair stops while also allowing a low profile weighing surface for easy wheelchair access.
The A&D digital weight indicator is mounted on a portable stand and can be operated by either AC power or by the internal batteries. The indicator also has a keyboard tare for subtracting the known weight of wheelchairs to eliminate double weighings. The wheelchair weigher has a capacity of 300kg and can also be used to weigh motorised wheelchairs.
