The weighbridge ordered by Hanson's comprises 4 individual weighbridge decks within its 30 metres length so individual weight reading from all axle groups to be readily identified during a single weighbridge transaction. The individual axle groups and the total weight readings are clearly displayed within the weighbridge office so as to alert the operator to any overloaded axle groups. External large digit remote displays are also used to relay the same weight data to the truck driver, there-by negating the risk of heavy fines for overloaded axle groups.
