Prisma Checkweigher for SA Seafood Processor.


Port Lincoln Seafood's Prisma Check Weigher

Another Prisma checkweigher is to be supplied to Port Lincoln Tuna Processors by Accuweigh's Adelaide branch. This new checkweigher will be slightly different to their existing Prisma checkweigher as it will have 400mm wide belts to suit the larger 1kg foil pouches of liquid cooking sauces currently in production.

This Prisma 08D3 checkweigher is rated for IP65, has a pusher reject mechanism and will be operating at a relatively slow speed of 50 packs a minute to suit existing product output speeds. Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch manager, Ian Cunningham, also specified for the in-feed and out-feed conveyors to also match the 400mm belt length of the Prisma checkweigher to minimise spare parts requirements for the client.
