Platform Scales were recently supplied to Forest Hill Wines in Denmark, Western Australia for weighing grapes.
Accuweigh’s A500 Heavy Duty Platform Scales replaced the client’s existing platform scales that had been damaged and were uneconomical to repair.
Accuweigh’s Albany branch supplied a set of Accuweigh’s A500 platform scales which feature a more robust design and manufacture than the damaged scales. The A500 platform scales are fully galvanised with multiple cross braces under the weighing platform to eliminate deflection of the platform under heavy loads. The A500 platform scale can withstand the rigours of hard use far longer than cheaper, lightly constructed platform scales.
The client’s existing digital weight indicator was still fully operational and was retro-fitted to the A500 platform scale and then certified for trade use to 3000kg x by 1kg divisions.
