A large batch of patient weighing scales was recently supplied to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
Forty-five sets of SECA patient weighing scales will enable Red Cross staff to capture donor patient weights during blood donations.
The SECA 813 patient weighing scales supplied by Accuweigh’s Newcastle branch are being rolled out across all Australian states for use in both Red Cross blood collection centres and mobile vans. To ensure high accuracy of the patient weighing scales, each unit is also supplied with a Calibration Report after being individually tested with certified test masses.
With a weighing capacity of 200kg by 0.1kg increments, the SECA 813 patient weighing scales have a steel frame and a broad weighing plate covered with a non-slip rubber surface for safe footing. After the patient steps off the scales, the weight reading is automatically locked on the LCD display for easy reading by attending staff.
Accuweigh is Australia’s leading weighing company and has eight branches across mainland states providing sales and service support on all types of patient scales, wheel chair weighers and hospital scales.
