Pallet scales are being used at Everhard’s Kunda Park plant on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast to accurately identify the weight of concrete tanks being loaded onto trucks.
After being weighed on the pallet scales, each tank is marked with its weight to assist operators in optimal positioning of the heavy tanks to minimise instances of overloading.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the A500 pallet scales are based on a very rugged design using heavy steel cross braces under the pallet scale deck to eliminate distortion under heavy loads which can affect weighing accuracy.
