Moisture analysers were recently supplied to Arkwood Organic Recyclers west of Brisbane.

The two sets of moisture analysers are being used for determining the solids content in sludge recovered from waste treatment plants.

The moisture analysers are used in conjunction with a fleet of dewatering trucks to remove excess water from sludge produced at waste treatment plants. The moisture analysers are used to check the moisture content of the sludge to verify the dewatering processes are being operated effectively.

The latest moisture analysers from A&D Australasia were supplied; both moisture analysers being the MF50 model with a weighing capacity of 51g displayed in 0.002g increments. High accuracy moisture analysing is achieved in very short time due to the straight halogen lamp and secondary radiation assist technology built into these moisture analysers.

A&D’s MF50 moisture analysers can be linked to A&D’s WinCT – Moisture software to enable moisture removal performance to be graphed and displayed on a PC, including moisture rate and change in moisture rate.
