Intrinsicially Safe Scales
Accuweigh QLD recently supplied a set of intrinsically safe A&D HW scales to Akzo Nobel’s production plant based in Brisbane’s Fairfield. The intrinsically safe A&D scales are being used for accurately weighing ingredients for the production of thinners.
A&D’s HW intrinsically safe scales was supplied in a capacity of 10,000g by 1g resolution due to the need for very precise weighings of this highly flammable product.
A&D intrinsically safe scales are available in two forms:
1. Rechargeable battery operation with the battery being removed and taken to a safe area for recharging as required
2. Cable connection to a supplied intrinsically safe power supply which is hard wired into existing mains power.
