Industrial Load Cells
Accuweigh’s QLD branch recently fitted industrial load cells to a second waste treatment plant for Gold Coast Water. These industrial hopper scales are used at the Pimpama plant for weighing treated by-product for tracking the volumes of waste product generated and also ensures the trucks removing the waste are not overloaded.
Accuweigh’s fitted six heavy duty AccuCell industrial load cells which are encapsulated in stainless steel and IP68 rated for industrial applications to the large hopper with dimensions of 10m long x 4m wide x 5m high with a holding capacity of 120 tonnes.
Sludge is fed into the 120t capacity industrial hopper scales by dual conveyors and then an auger/conveyor combination empties the sludge from the industrial hopper scales into waiting trucks which is then being delivered free of charge to local market gardeners for rejuvenating soil.
