Driver Access Platform
A Driver Access Platform with integral steps and guard rails has been installed to address potential OH&S issues with drivers exiting their trucks to collect weighbridge weight tickets.
The Driver Access Platform was fitted to a recently installed weighbridge at a transport depot in Brisbane.
A correctly designed and installed Driver Access Platform can eliminate the potentially dangerous practise of truck drivers using the weighbridge I-Beams as steps to enter and leave their trucks.
Accuweigh’s Driver Access Platforms are fully galvanised for protection against the elements and are custom manufactured to suit each individual application. For this application, the Truck Access Platforms are also fitted with guard rails and steps down into the weighbridge pit to provide safe access for maintenance and cleaning staff.
