Crane scales were recently sold to a crane hire company for use on their fleet of mobile cranes based in Rocklea, Brisbane.

Accuweigh’s Geebung branch supplied two sets of Dillon crane scales with a weighing capacity of 20t which suits most mobile crane lifting applications.

Dillon ED Extreme electronic crane scales were purchased due to their durability under demanding weighing applications. These Dillon crane scales were supplied with both top and bottom the load shackles to ensure correct fitting for the client’s application.

The Dillon ED crane scales are powered by disposable “C” dry cell batteries which typically offer up to 200 hours of operation. The batteries reside in an internal compartment of the crane scale body that is easily accessible without needing tools.

Designed for weather and water resistance, the Dillon crane scales feature a high resolution dot matrix LCD display that is protected by injection moulded lexan panels. With a weighing resolution of 1000 divisions, these crane scales can also be used in enhanced mode for high accuracy weighing applications.

The Dillon ED crane scales are supplied in a sturdy carry case and available with an optional hand held remote control using a wireless interface. Available in capacities from 1t up to 200t, the Dillon crane scales are also suit for use as industrial dynamometer applications.
