Bulka Bag Scales
Accuweigh’s Brisbane South branch recently supplied bulka bag scales to SE Hauliers based at Hemmant, Queensland. The bulka bag scales will be used for filling bulka bags with various fertilizers and other products.
Accuweigh’s bulka bag scales are Australian made using locally produced BHP steel and are based on a QWM platform scale design of heavy duty construction which is fitted with a steel structure for holding the bulka bags. The bulka bag scales carries full trade approvals and has a weighing capacity of 3,000kg.
The fertilizer is fed by an overhead feeder into a bulka bag fitted to the steel framework rigidly attached to the scales. The connected R320 digital weight indicator is used for manual filling but it can be fitted with relay outputs to control the feeder for full automatic operation of the bulka bag scales.
