Battery scales were recently supplied to Dark Side Chocolates located in Denmark by Accuweigh’s Albany branch in WA.
The trade approved battery scales are used to weigh each produced chocolate to ensure a consistent weight is achieved across various batches.
A&D’s SJ model battery scales were supplied as it met all the client’s needs and at a very reasonable cost, including the requirement of being lightweight for ease relocation. A large stainless steel weighing pan is fitted to these battery scales for easy cleaning.
The SJ battery scales are powered by a plugpack but can be fitted with internal D size batteries for up to 800 hours of operation. An Auto Power Off function eliminates battery drain when the scales are left idle for more than a few minutes. A large LCD display ensures clear viewing under all lighting conditions and these battery scales are available in various weighing capacities from 1,000g up to 12,000g.
