Seven sets of Baby Scales were recently supplied to a Melbourne Council for use in their maternal & child health centres.
These Baby Scales will mainly be used for portable weighing applications by Melton Shire Council.
Accuweigh’s Victorian branch in Springvale North supplied the Baby Scales which needed to be highly portable to also allow council staff to visit the homes of recently born babies for regular weighings as required. The MS-2400 Baby Scales are very lightweight and are powered by an internal 9V battery but can also be operated from an AC outlet using the supplied plugpack.
The MS-2400 Baby Scales provides accurate, safe weighing of infants up to 20 kg in weight. This extremely lightweight Baby Scale can be used either in a permanent location or as a portable Baby Scale. These Baby Scales are designed for hospitals, clinics, surgeries, child health centres, veterinary practice and home use.
The platform, base and padded carrying handles of the Baby Scales are incorporated into one complete unit making it easy to transport from place to place. The padded side rails and handle covers are slightly contoured ensuring that the baby will be cradled comfortably and securely while being weighed. The HOLD feature of these Baby Scales locks the acquired weight reading on the display for later reading.
