A steel weighbridge was recently commissioned by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch for weighing green waste into the Enviromix recycling facility located at Dingle in Victoria.
Accuweigh’s steel deck weighbridge is fully Australian Made using BHP steel and is certified for trade use.
Measuring nine metres long and with a weighing capacity of thirty tonnes, this steel deck weighbridge weighs council and contractor garbage trucks delivering waste from council green bins and kerbside collections. Accuweigh’s steel weighbridges are fully hot dip galvanised for high corrosion resistance and are a very cost effective alternative to a concrete deck weighbridge.
Due to the weighbridge’s positioning on a site previously used as a tip, rolled crusher dust was required up to two metres deep to ensure a stable base for the weighbridge foundations. The weighing electronics of the steel weighbridge comprises:

AASoftware’s Ticket Aid Pro Weighbridge Software was also installed into an existing PC to track all weight transactions, printing weight tickets and for generating management reports.
